Gloucester Property Scene
A major employment centre, Gloucester has a history to live up to. Its medieval
cathedral gives a big clue to its former glories and whilst the city has suffered
from poor post war development, there are clear signs of a revival in its fortunes,
the Docks Development being the most prominent example.
With easy access to the M5, there are many new property developments on the city
outskirts, particularly in Quedgeley, Abbeymead and Abbeydale
where there’s an abundance of family accommodation with flats and houses to let.
Churchdown village is popular for its traditional village houses. Tenants
and landlords are attracted to the many modern 1 and 2 bedroom houses to let and
rent.
Kingsholm, the home of Gloucester Rugby
Club, is surrounded by Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, attractive
for families and as flats for younger tenants.
